後期授業報告（２） 報告会に向け本格始動！

後期2回目の授業です。
前期は研修に向けて異文化学習について理解を深めてきましたが、これからはそれらを少しずつ外に発信することになります。10月には学内での海外ゼミ研修報告会、11月12日にはJICA地球広場で行われる外務省後援のイベントの企画・運営を担当し、ネパール研修についてのプレゼンを行います。それらに向け、各イベントの趣旨やそれに向けた準備の方法を議論しました。4月から私達の活動が始まり早くも半年を終えようとしています。今後は報告会やイベントの成功を目指し、全員で協力し、頑張っていきます。

This was the second class since the Nepal trip. During the first semester we focused mainly on cross-cultural studies.Based on what we learnt and saw in Nepal,we will use our second semester to plan and hold seminars to share our experience.There will be one seminar held on 26th of October and the second one on 12th of November at JICA Global Square.We will use our time mainly at discussing the programs of these two events  hoping to give our audiences the best we could.

ネパール研修報告（5）マイダン村の学校での活動と「フードエクスチェインジ」

元気一杯の子供たちと夢中で遊びました

研修5日目。村に来て2日経ちました。
日本では経験出来ないようなことを経験しております。薄暗い家にて食事は基本的に手で食べたり、村は山の中。もちろん街灯はないので真っ暗の中懐中電灯で山道を照らしました。また、各ホストファミリーによりご飯や住んでいるところなどに大きな違いがあるため、それぞれの家庭の話しで盛り上がりました！

言葉は通じなくてもカンフーで子供たちと交流

この日最初の活動は村の学校への訪問でした。その学校の生徒とは言葉が通じませんでしたが、笑顔で仲良くなり、また日本から持ってきた折り紙を使って子供たちに鶴や紙飛行機などを教えました！その後各国のダンスを披露し様々な文化伝統についての紹介をしました。

午後は、フードエクスチェンジと題したプログラムも行いました。日本から来た学生はネパールの料理を作り、ネパールメンバーは日本のおにぎりを作りました！ネパールの米でおにぎりに挑戦したら粘り気がなくてうまくいかず、途
中から急遽チャーハンに変更しました笑。
ネパール滞在4日目もみんなで充実した一日となりました！

Today is the 2nd day of staying in the village.
We experienced what we can't experience in Japan. We use hand when we eat in the darkish house. Furthermore, there are no lights in the village so we used flashlights. We got excited over talking about the difference of each homestay.
The first activity of today was visiting school and we played with using "Origami" which is Japanese word for paper folding. Also, we performed traditional dances of Japan, Vietnam, China, Philippines, Malaysia, and Nepal.
After we went back to the village we did "Food Exchange Program" . Nepali members taught us how to cook Nepalese food and Seki seminar students taught them how to make rice ball.
We spent good time all together!

ネパール研修報告（4）マイダン村生活体験スタート！

お互いの名前を覚えるためのネパール版山手線ゲーム！
みんな爆笑でした！

研修５日目。

今日は遂に村へ移動、そしてホームステイの日です。昨日の疲れがかなり残っていましたが、ジープで頑張って移動しました。ジープで通った山道は標高が高い上に道も狭く崖から落ちてしまうのではないかとハラハラし、まるでアトラクションに乗っているかのようでした。メンバーは期待と不安が入り交じる中、ようやくマイダン村というとても小さな村に到着。村ではいろんなゲームをしたり、キャンプファイヤーをしたりして交流を深めました。村での生活は十分な電気や水はなく必要最低限の物があるだけです。ホームステイではネパールメンバーと日本メンバー二人一組での宿泊に不安でしたが、現地メンバーは皆、私たちを常に気遣ってくれ、なによりホームステイ先の方々も優しくたくさんご飯を出してくれたりとおもてなしをして頂き楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。

＜5th day of studying in Nepal＞

Finally, this is the day to stay in the village. 

We moved from Palpa to Maidan by jeep.

The mountain path was high and it was really narrow. It was so creepy that we felt like riding an attraction.

All members were so nervous because we didn't have an idea how the village was like. After we arrived, we played games and did campfire to enjoy communication with each other.

We didn't have enough electricity or water. There are only minimum amount of necessities in the village.

The coordinators made pairs of one Nepali and one Japanese member for each homestay. Japanese members felt anxious but because of kindness of Nepaleaes, it disappeared. Moreover, the host family welcomed us with really nice food and warm atmosphere that we could enjoy our time in the village.

11月12日開催！AAEE学生交流プログラム報告会イベント（外務省後援、JICA地球ひろば後援）

11月12日（日）JICA地球ひろば 2F 国際会議場にてAAEE学生交流プログラム報告会イベント「アジア地域での学生交流 現地をみつめる、若者と共に考える 〜想像から現実へ〜」を開催致します。外務省後援　JICA地球ひろば後援です！
13:00受付開始、14:00開催予定でございます。

実際に海外研修に参加し、言語・文化の異なる学生交流を通じて学んだ生の声をお届けします！
また、これを踏まえてご来場いただいた皆様とテーマについて一緒に話し合い、意見交換をしてまいります！
最後にはご来場いただいた皆様に今後、国際的な視野が広がるきっかけとなるようなイベントを目指してまいります！
関ゼミの学生はイベント運営から発表まで大活躍します。

来年度の交流プログラムに参加することを考えている人は必見です。さらに磨きをかけたプログラムを紹介します。

We are going to hold "AAEE Student Exchange Program event" at JICA chikyuu hiroba 2F Kokusaikaigijyou Tokyo Japan.
Reception is available from 1 pm and the event is going to start from 2pm.

The highlight is we are going to talk about our real experiences through this program with their students who have different cultures and languages.

Furthermore, we are going to discuss the future of global society and multiculturalism.

At the end, we hope that this event makes you expand your global view in the future.

後期授業報告（１）！ マレーシアからのスペシャルゲスト

夏休みも明け、後期のゼミがスタートしました！後期初回の授業ではいきなりスペシャルゲストの登場。マレーシア人学生のお母様と従妹さんですが一緒に授業に参加して下さいました！

　授業ではまず、ネパールゼミ研修での学びを述べました。皆の発言を聞いていて、同じ場で同じ経験をしていても物の見方や捉え方は人によって異なるのだなと感じました。

その後関先生は前期の授業内で説明したいくつかの異文化学習モデルを再度スクリーンに映し出し、ネパールでの経験と関連付けながら説明するように私たちに求めました。これは簡単そうでとても難しく、モデルの説明自体はできても自身の経験と結びつけてうまく説明できないゼミ生の方が多かった気がします。まだまだ勉強不足です！

授業の終わりに、ゲストのお二人にささやかなお土産を差し上げ、ゼミ生全員でソーラン節を披露しました。マレーシアからわざわざお越しくださりありがとうございました！

To kickstart the new semester, two special guests were invited to join the class. They were the parent and sibling of one of the Seminar students who come from Malaysia. On the first day of class, we had a reflection on what we learned about Nepal. During the trip to Nepal, we had a lot of discussions, meetings and sharing. One thing for sure is that the students started to realize things that they had not noticed before through listening to other's opinion and thus, it depends their view towards many things. Our Professor gave us several charts and asked us to explain them by using our knowledge what we learned in Nepal. Everyone was very excited to share their interesting opinions and experiences, which created a fun atmosphere in the class. We ended our class by performing a traditional Japanese dance to cheer up our guests.

無事、日本に帰国致しました！！

空港でのネパールメンバーとのお別れ直前

遅れましたが。。14日間の海外研修を終え無事帰国致しました！まずは、初日にタイ人の大学生との交流から始まり、翌日からはネパール人たちと12日間ずっと一緒に多文化間交流。今年のゼミ生は日本人のみならずマレーシア、中国、ベトナム、香港、フィリピンなど様々な国と文化が混ざり合っており、英語のみならずネパール語、中国語、日本語、マレー語など様々な言葉が飛び交ってとても不思議な空間でした。バスやジープで合計24時間もかけて辿りついた辺境の村でのホームスティや学校での交流、カルチュラルパフォーマンス、国連での勉強会など普段の生活では絶対に経験できないことをたくさん経験しました。どれをとってもすごいことばかりでしたが、何よりもネパールの大学生メンバーと培った絆は一生続くと思います！別れるのが辛くて辛くて皆泣いていました。
この経験を糧に将来一人一人が社会に貢献できる人になれるように関ゼミはこれからも頑張っていきます。

いきなりの帰国報告になってしまいましたが、ネパール滞在中の活動については今後随時掲載していきます（ネパール滞在中は忙しすぎて記事を書ける状態ではありませんでした）。

After 14days of studying in Nepal we finally arrived in Japan safely.

We started from communicating with Nepalese, stayed in villages without water or electricity and did lots of cultural experiences together with 10 Nepalese participants. Every single moment was precious experience which we can not experience ever. Through these experiences we would like to be a person who can contribute to the society in the future. We just stared, we keep going forward.

Also, we haven't posted yet the rest of our activities in Nepal. Yet, we will upload it as soon as possible.

ネパール研修報告（3）カトマンズからパルパへ（18時間！のバスの旅！）

18時間ひたすら走り続けたオフロード

研修4日目。この日はカトマンズからパルパまでバスで向かいました。予定では12時間でしたが渋滞や公共交通機関を停止してしまうバンダなどにはまりなんと18時間も。。道路はしっかり整備されておらず、でこぼこ道や砂利道が続き車内は大きく揺れてスリリングな体験でした。朝早くの出発でしたがパルパに到着したのは深夜過ぎになってしまい1日かけての大移動でした。

4th day of study. We went ahead to Palpa from Kathmandu. It was 12 hours in the plan but due of the traffic jam and stopping of public transportation called Nepal Bandh, we took 18 hours... The road was not maintained well so we experienced the big turbulence of the bus which was thrilling. We departure early in the morning but we arrived very late night. It was really really long travel to Palpa.

ネパール研修報告（2）UN WOMEN訪問

UN WOMENのプレゼンのビデオに釘付けの学生たち

3日目。ゼミ生の多くが初めての海外です。カトマンズは大量の排気ガスと砂ぼこり、昼夜問わず鳴り響くクラクション、縦横無尽に走り回る無秩序な交通事情、人を気にせず歩き回る牛。あらゆる現地人の私生活に驚かされっぱなしでした。

最初のアクティビティはUN WOMEN訪問でした。
UN WOMENとは、United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women（ジェンダー平等と女性のエンパワーメントのための国連機関）の略称。(UN WOMEN websiteより)SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals)のうち、特にGender equalityについてネパールメンバーと日本メンバーの議論が白熱しました。
女性のリーダーシップ・エンパワーメントなどを優先的に焦点を当てており世界的な問題であると感じました。



On the third day.It is the first time for most of us to go to Nepal. In Kathmandu,emitted gas and dust,heavy traffic,many cows which don't care about us at all
We were just overwhelmed by their general life.
The first activity was visiting UN WOMEN which stands for United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women(from UN WOMEN website)
The gender equality, one of the SDGs(Sustainable Development Goals) was seriously discussed by Nepali and Japanese students.
They preferentially focus on the leadership and empowerment from ladies and we felt it was the global issue.

ネパール研修報告（1）ネパール到着！ ネパールメンバーとの初対面！

ネパール人学生と日本人学生の初対面@AAEE Nepal Office 

タイから約3時間、ついにネパールに到着しました！！空港からはAAEEコーディネーターのシティズさんがお迎えに来てくださり、車でAAEEのオフィスへ向かいました。そこではネパールメンバーのみなさんが出迎えてくださり、ティカというお米を赤く染めたものを相手に対する尊敬と神の恩恵の意味を込め額につけてくれました。そして、サプライズで歌の生披露やケーキに手作りのラッシーをご馳走していただき、さらにはみんなお揃いのMERO SATHI Tシャツをプレゼントしてくれました。私たちからも歌のプレゼントをして盛り上がりました。ネパールの学生達はとてもフレンドリーに歓迎してくれ、これからもっと仲良くなって一緒に活動していくのが楽しみです！

We finally arrived in Nepal after a 3-hour flight from Thailand. General Manager of AAEE Nepal, Mr.Kshitiz Bhattarai picked us up at the airport and we went to the AAEE office together right after that. All the Nepalese members offered us a warm welcome by putting red mark which is made from rice called Tika on our foreheads to show their respect to us and to bless us. And, they surprised us by performing some Nepalese songs and cake, homemade lassi and moreover, they gave us MERO SATHI T-shirt as presents! We also sang a Japanese song to thank them. The Nepalese members are very friendly and kind to us, we are looking forward to getting along well with each other more let's actively participate in this program!

今日はみんながわくわく待ち望んだネパール研修初日！
朝8:00に無事全員集まりました！
ここで出発前に驚くべきことが起こりました！？

フライトアテンダントの方から頂いた手土産、すごく美味しかったです！

先生も13年ぶりにお会いするという世界を飛び回るフライトアテンダントの元教え子の方がたまたま成田空港にいらっしゃったので私たちのためにお時間を割いて下さいました！また大変美味しい洋菓子も頂戴して素敵な方でした。航空業界に興味があったゼミ生は釘付けでした。

その後順調に手荷物検査、税関をクリアし…

搭乗！飛行機の中へ！

そしてついに、、、
ネパール研修スタートです！
まずは乗り継ぎのためバンコクへ向け旅立ちました！！！

バンコクまでは６時間半のフライトです✈️

Today is the first day of Nepal study tour which we're looking forward to.
We met up at Narita airport at 8:00AM and there something special happened to us!!!

A flight attendant who was the student of Mr.Seki came to greet the professor and gave a really gorgeous souvenir to us.
A big thank to Ms.Yukari for your time and the delicious mini cakes.

After that we proceed to the boarding gate.

Sitting on the plane gave us the solid feeling that Mero Sathi project has finally started.

We're going to transit in Bangkok before arriving at our finally destination, Nepal.
