異文化コミュニケーション超基礎編 「ゼミメンバー内コミュニケーション」

2018関昭典ゼミナールは、この11人で楽しく盛り上げていきます！

今日の授業は関ゼミ恒例のパワーポイント自己紹介、関先生の講義、そして個人英語学習進捗チェックの３つで構成されました。

１． 自己紹介
 「自分は何者か、聞いている人の記憶に残る自己紹介。持ち時間３－4分、使用言語自由」これが先週与えられた課題です。「人の記憶に残る」という条件が頭を悩ませましたが、皆本気で準備しました。多彩な趣味を持つ人、写真撮影が趣味で素敵な写真を用いて発表する人、英語で発表する人など、関ゼミらしく個性的な自己紹介ばかりでした。私にとって一番興味深かったのは、仏像の趣味について話してくれたゼミ生です。仏像をこれほど愛する人に私はこれまでに一度も出会ったことがないので驚きました。

夏からの長期留学を控えながらも、単位なし聴講生として
参加する意識の高い学生も2名います！

２．関先生の講義
関先生の講義テーマは「コミュニケーションの仕組み」でした。人から人にメッセージが正しく伝達される過程を詳しく示す図が提示され、ゼミ生がペアになって考え説明を試みました。自分のメッセージを伝える際には様々な妨げがあり、結果として勘違いが生じてしまうこと。自分の伝えたいことを正確に伝えることは難しいと実感しました。





３． 個人英語学習進捗チェック

関ゼミを求めて他大学から編入してきた学生も！

 単語テスト、音読テストを行いました。
皆必死です。

最後は、いつもお世話になっている国分寺駅南口近くの「カフェ6」で懇親会。ゼミ生全員が初めて一堂に会し、学年問わず気軽にいろんな話をしました。授業の自己紹介だけでは、わからなかった部分も知れたり去年のゼミ活動の話も聞けたりしました。ゲームもしたりして大いに盛り上がり。あっという間の楽しい時間でした。
これからの、ゼミ活動が、楽しみになる1日でした。

On the second day, each seminar member introduced himself/herself as we do every year.
Here are the details below.

1. Self-Introduction
We were given assignments last week that was to make an interesting self-introduction. We were given three minutes per person. It was very interesting to see everyone has all different backgrounds or interests. Some members used beautiful pictures in their slides and tried to speak English during their presentations. The most interesting and unique hobby introduced by one of our members was visiting and taking pictures of statues of Buddha. I hadn’t ever met a person who loves it so much, so it was interesting.

2. A lecture by professor Seki
The topic of the lecture by professor Seki was about communication systems. Professor Seki showed us the illustration that explains how messages are delivered from a sender to a receiver of the message. When we tell messages to people, there are many obstacles, so we sometimes get the wrong idea. We felt it is difficult to tell our messages to others correctly.


3. English vocabulary test
We took English vocabulary test. First, we filled in blank space, then we read the sentences completely. Everyone studied very hard for the test.

After the class, we held a dinner party at 6 café that is near the south exit of Kokubunji station. We talked a lot and played the party game. There was a lot of fun, so I thought the party was too short.
The fun time with the members made me excited for this year ahead.
